Oliver research interests are focused around the application of Human Factors and non-technical (command) skills in the fire and rescue service context. A working paper in development is looking to provide a fresh examination of how incident commanders are making decisions in the field via data kindly provided through a partnership with Unblur and UK Fire and Rescue Service bodies.
